Due to the recent increase in the number of Covid-19 victims, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has ordered the state’s doctors to attend to malaria sickness as coronavirus until a reliable test is conducted.

The Governor instructed this at a press briefing in the State House, Alausa, Ikeja.

He pleaded that citizens with Covid-19 symptoms go to any laboratory to verify their health status. He also confirmed that the INDO and Gbagada isolation centres have been re-opened.

He concluded that the government would ensure that adequate oxygen are supplied to the isolation centres to meet the safety of patients who require them.
