On Wednesday, 20th January, Mr. Ofwono Opondo, the media personnel to the government of Uganda had twitted that the President will drive from his hometown, to the capital city of the country on Thursday, 21st January.
He stated further that the Ugandan President, President Museveni, who was reelected last week will make a number of stops through his route to the country’s capital.

However, the Ugandan government have been called to lift a house arrest on its strong opposition, Bobi Wine, who had earlier rejected the election outcome.

Following this, the United States had also called for a probe into evidences of election malpractices by the opposition.
But after the military had invaded the opposition’s territory, the party officials claimed that their petition materials were seized.
