Students at Suffolk University in Boston can earn their political science degree in as little as three years, save on tuition, and start work or graduate school early. You can also opt for one of the three concentrations. The law major, with a specialization in political science, is designed for students interested in government or attending law school. The program is designed to help students develop the oral communication, writing, and critical thinking skills needed to succeed in government and the legal community. While the specialization in Legal Studies requires only an additional elective course in Political Science, students may take additional courses in the discipline. Please note that this specialization does not prepare students for a career as a paralegal and that the political science specialization is not approved by the American Bar Association.
