Whatever the origin of their origin, codes of business ethics must be developed with the support of high authorities. Today, companies, international organizations and even governments have developed codes of ethics because they guarantee productivity, sustainability and response to legal obligations and international treaties ratified by nations, such as the Inter-American Convention against Corruption, to ethical obligations that go beyond legal requirements. In the spirit of working together to achieve our common goal, our patients (and their parents, legal guardians or surrogate mothers) also have certain responsibilities as participants in medical research studies and as patients of the Clinical Center. These are explained under Patient Responsibility. There are two important aspects of an ONR to remember: In 1990, Congress passed the Patient Self-Determination Act, which states that all medical services reimbursed by Medicaid and Medicare must inform patients of the living will and help them prepare it if they wish. Although the clinical centre does not receive such financial reimbursements, it was and is our duty to respectfully and consistently consider the ethical aspects of patient care, including living wills. In addition, the various departments and essential offices in modern hospitals archive files containing parts of the same or similar information. These include those of admission, anesthesiology, transfusion medicine, dental clinic, nursing, nutrition, pharmacy, reception, recovery therapy, social work, spiritual service and travel agency. Also included are the departments and offices responsible for electrocardiograms, electroencephalograms, metabolic rates, pathological anatomy, respiratory function, radioisotope studies and X-rays.

A living will is a document in which a person gives advance instructions about their medical care or appoints a person who makes medical decisions on their behalf in case they lose the ability to do so. There are two types of living wills: the treatment will (the most common example is the living will) and the delegation of the power of attorney (the best known example is the continuing power of attorney for health care). In order to achieve greater specialization in the field of ethics, codes of ethics are used, which are nothing more than a compilation of the norms and rules that determine the ideal or most appropriate behavior for a particular group of professionals. The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that sets the standards by which the quality of health care is measured nationally and internationally. The Commission assesses the quality and safety of care in more than 17,000 healthcare organisations. To obtain and maintain this accreditation, institutions must undergo a thorough review of their facilities by a team of Joint Commission health professionals at least every three years. The objective of the review is to assess the organization`s performance in areas that impact patient care. ~ The manager must put the well-being of the company before personal problems, whether they are his own, his colleagues or his subordinates.
